Trying to navigate the ethics of the war in Gaza is crazy complicated, mostly because it is so difficult to navigate the actual facts in Gaza.
For example, the statement by a senior UN official Tom Fletcher that 14,000 children would die of starvation in 48 hours was a complete misinterpretation of the actual UN report saying that 14,000 would face food insecurity over the course of the next year. Fletcher's statement was repeated by major news sources, but only Israeli, American Jewish, Indian, and right wing news sources reported on the misstatement.
So, on the one hand, I can't trust major news sources to report on Gaza fairly and accurately. On the other hand, Netanyahu is blocking humanitarian aid, and I don't want to dismiss the actual situation. On the third hand, Netanyahu is correct that Hamas is stealing most of the food aid, and reports from the Jerusalem Post and other sources show markets in Gaza with adequate supplies, albeit at ridiculously high prices. On the fourth hand, Netanyahu has completely mishandled this war.
What news sources do you use to get an accurate read of Israel and Gaza? Thank you, and please keep writing.

This is an incriminating piece with bias and omission of facts.
